Weeks 8 and 9

Spelling and Reading as usual. All students have their Read, Write, Inc books plus books/novels borrowed from the library for reading.
Maths homework last week was to find odd and even numbers at home. This week we are looking at place value and students are asked to use their birthdays (day and month eg 26/3) to show the biggest number they can make using those numbers.

Week 7

Maths homework is based on measurement and students are asked to find 4 things that weigh more than 1kg and 4 things that weigh less than 500grams. Spelling and reading as usual.

Week 6

Math homework is based on the Geometry strand and students have been asked to find right angles at home. Spelling words and reading tasks as usual.
